Pedro Rodrigez is a stranded Rando soldier on Garbage Island, located below the Broken Bridge. Pedro, left behind in the emergency recall of all Rando troops occupying the landfill, sees fit to 'claim' the island for himself.
In-Game[]
Alex encounters Pedro under the recently demolished bridge leading to the mainland. If approached, Pedro will confront the garbage man. Alex asks if he's of the stranded troops that were left behind. Pedro denies this, saying he choose to stay - claiming that the recall was a "sign, sent to me by destiny!"
Pedro then boasts that he plans to keep the island to himself, wanting Alex out of the picture. A battle is then initiated with the player.
Battle[]
Pedro is the very first battle that the player encounters in LISA: The Pointless. His main artifice is to present the bottle-throwing strategy, first motioned at in the start of the battle, Pedro calling Joel out: "What're you doing with that bottle, big-hat? Don't you dare weaponize that technology!"
This presents a strategy to deal massive damage later on in the game, and, if desired, a way to handle Pedro quickly. When it is Joel's turn, equip an Empty Bottle in his inventory, and target him.
Once defeated, Pedro will say: "You only won because I let you! Good luck with dealing guilt the rest of your lives!"
Strategy[]
The best course of action is to have Joel toss a bottle and Alex attack randomly to end the fight quick. The damages you will sustain otherwise aren't worth saving a single Empty Bottle.
